About Us
Epsom and Ewell A.B.C is a well established non profit amateur boxing club with a good reputation within the community of Epsom and Ewell.
We cater for all people aged from 8 and above whether you want to simply keep fit or want to take up boxing on a more serious level. We aim to promote health and fitness in a fun way. With a long and prestigious history of creating champions from youngsters, youths and adults from all sections of the community and all backgrounds.
Learning the sport of boxing will teach you self-discipline and self defence in a safe and controlled environment and all our coaches are registered with the A.B.A and are fully CRB checked.
Our History
Epsom and Ewell Amateur Boxing Club is one of the oldest Amateur Boxing Clubs in Surrey.
The club has been providing schoolboy champions from Epsom and surrounding areas since 1948, undergoing many changes since then, none greater than the building of Stephen Woods Centre which still houses us today.
As a Non profit organisation all of our coaches do this for the children and for our community. Ray Parker was a massive part of the boxing club for many years but unfortunately passed away in 2020. His son Robert Parker who has been at the club for nearly 50 years as boxer and coach, along with his Grandson, Ben Parker, now run the boxing club in honour of Ray, upholding his legacy.
Robert has led many ABA Golden Gloves and National champions throughout his career. With a great team of coaches beside him we hope for many more champions over the coming years!
